Latest monthly insolvency stats down, year-on-year still up

Insolvencies in December 2015 dropped by 5.5% from the previous month, but are up from a year ago.

The latest report from the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy Canada show that insolvencies in Canada rose 5.1 percent in December 2015 from a year ago.  Year on year, consumer insolvencies are up 5.7 percent, while business insolvencies decreased by 7.8 percent.
