Insolvencies are on the rise again in October 2015, but the increase is lower than the previous month.
The latest figures from Statistics Canada show that insolvencies in Canada increased by 2.8 percent in October 2015 from the previous month. Bankruptcies increased by 0.2 percent and proposals increased by 6.3 percent.
Year-on-year figure show the total number of insolvencies increased by 2.5 percent compared with the 12-month period ending Sin October, 2014. This is largely unchanged from the previous month figures.
