The office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy Canada has released the latest insolvency stats for Canada for June 2016
Insolvencies in Canada decreased by 1.5 percent from the previous month. However, when compared to last year, insolvencies are still up: they’ve increased 7.7 percent compared to a year ago.
Other June 2016 stats: bankruptcies decreased by 4.8 percent, while proposals increased by 2.1 percent.
For the 12 month period ending June 30, 2016, total insolvencies increased 4.2 percent compared to the same 12 month period a year ago.
